So much better than an XLR Snake!

I wasn't sure to be honest about these but gave them a go and I'm so pleased I did. Fantastic! I use them for a small band set up and needed 8 channels. So I bought two of these and two of the 3MCs. Connect to the mixer at one end and instruments/vocals at the other end. Such good value. I've used a few times and no issues. Solid build and robust cables.

Game Changer!!

These are an utter game changer. I have one of these at the mixer and one on my pedalboard. I run my bass to the mixer, mic to the mixer and IEMs back to me all through a CAT cable. Fantastic!

Perfect solution for the studio

Absolutely brilliant idea depending on what cat5 cable lengths you have it can be used for live work or the studio and very little chance of cable failure.only let down is you can’t send phantom power.

Alternative to clunky multicore cables

Good product, small and light, replaced my 30m multicore cable with couple of this and 30m cat6 sftp cable.

Great for connection pedal board to mixer

I use a male/female pair of these beauties to connect my pedal board to the mixer at gigs and in the practice room. It carries the DI signal from my guitar and bass plus drum machine (left and right channels). I only have to run 1 cable instead of 4! I have a female on the pedal board and a male each at the mixer in the practice room and the mixer I take out with the band gigging. Takes seconds to connect the pedal board to either mixer, thanks to these splitters!

If you are looking for a way to use less rj45 cables then this is the perfect product. Great build quality highly recommended.

problems with crosstalk

I tried this unit but, in my application, I had problems with crosstalk. It might be fine with live music but I was recording dialogue which needed to be clean. There was around 30 or 40 dB between the signal and the crosstalk in my test.
