This device ise so useful. If it is paired with Snake 3FC it can carry analog&digital signal together on a single Cat cable. It works for MIDI&audio for more than 30 meters.

Alternative to clunky multicore cables

Good product, small and light, replaced my 30m multicore cable with couple of this and 30m cat6 sftp cable.

Game changer

I bought this to reduce the amount of cable I have running around the stage and it has literally changed our setup for the better. I can’t believe I waited so long to buy a pair of these. I run it back from the drums and I will be purchasing another pair of these very soon. Great quality and they look good too.

Phantom power not working

We use it together with Sssnake Cat Snake 3FB to reduce the number of drum cables. It works without buzzing, but phantom power does not work, so we do not pulg bass drum mic which needs phantom power through it.

I do not know why does phantom power do not work (because of 3FB or 3MC) but the manual says it should work.

Anyway, if You exclude the phantom problem, all the rest is ok. Build quality and overall feel.

à peine reçu, j'ai déssoudé tous les conneteurs pour passer d'une config 4x XLR à 8x Jack Mono, ce qui me permet de connecter 4 synthés stéréo à un rack de scène dans lequel se situent toutes les DI. La qualité générale est étonnante pour le prix. Le connecteur RJ45 est un Neutrik Ethercon.

Great breakout tail for audio too

I use this to receive audio from a cat stagebox (still from sssnake). Tip? Replace the xlr's with Neutrik, much more stable and more strain releif on the cable. It's a great product and even though I already have two I might just buy a couple more.
