Fun for a little while

Kazoos are weird little instruments that have a thin and slightly annoying sound that is almost impossible to take seriously. If you're asking yourself how it sounds, you might want to check out "Corporal Clegg" by Pink Floyd, where a kazoo is used to accompany the zany lyrics during the outro. After hearing it, I wanted to try it out myself, so I've ordered one together with some other things.

It's pretty easy to play, you just have to put the thicker end between your lips and hum the notes. It doesn't take more than a few minutes until you've figured out how to play some melodies. This simplicity makes the kazoo a nice little present for everyone who is even slightly interested in making music.

However, the Gewa Kazoo's quality is pretty low. After about two weeks of occassionally playing it, the membrane broke and it was impossible to play it any more. But considering the low price, I've had a lot of fun with it.

Long-lasting Fun

I ordered the Gewa Kazoo some years ago and played several times (Gigs and at home) with it.

The plastic sheet inside is still working fine and sounds unvaried.

I can absolutely recommend it.

crazy little thing

You have to get used to how it works but then it works just fine and is a nice little sound extra. Because it is made of metal you have to be careful with your teeth but I think it's a bit more hygenic than a plastic one 'cause these would get scratches sooner which is a contact point for germs and stuff.

Nice little stage toy

The kazoo works fine. I use it regularly on stage. Even after a year this thing works still fine. It doesn't break and the sound is still awesome. I would buy it again.
