Affordably excellent!

This is a superb instrument. It's well made and the matte finish looks very good. The tuners and endpin are solid and work perfectly and it arrived with a well adjusted bridge set for comfortable jazz and arco playing. The strings are good quality and the fingerboard is fine ebony and well finished. The neck has been carefully flattened towards the heel which makes playing very comfortable. I'm playiing the bass through a TC amp with a Barefaced 10in cab, from a Gage Soundclip and the sound is outstanding with an excellent even tone across the strings. First class at any price.

Excellent value and rich tone

This was my first double bass and had a lovely warm tone - surprising for an instrument so relatively inexpensive. Highly recommend.

Great value

Great budget bass. I recommend this if you have a limited budget, it offers great value for the money. A setup by professionals might improve the sound, but it was ready from the factory for my type of use. Great fun!

was a bit surprised at how good the sound was from this cheap bass as have had more expensive variations that were no where near as good sounding. As a first bass would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a quality tone for very little expense,
