Thomann CTM-700 5-stars Reviews
Great Tuner
I had only had one tuner so far and CTM-700 has been a no brainer winner of the two
On the downside the user guide could be more detailed, I am used to the easy to use clip on tuner and the added functionalities where all new to me.
It does all described in the website and tuner is accurate. I can check intonation with it; my previous clip on tuner is worthless for this but CTM-700 does the trick.
Actually I though there was something wrong with my guitar as my previous tuner gave me an D sharp on the 12th Fret on the bottom E string ect now I know the issue is the tuner itself as CTM-700 gives me an E with some cents deviation, so no perfect intonation.
My daughter tuned the ukulele as well and I used the metronome just to test and it is easy to use.
Overall great buy, accurate on mic or cable and reads accurately on the 12th fret as well to check intonation, downside is that I would like to have an A/C version to connect to the pedalboard and never get batteries again
Everything you need in a small tuner!
I can definitely recommend this small tuner to everyone who needs one. It seems pretty solid, is very intuitive and accurate. Additionally, the metronome is a very useful option. For this price, you cannot go wrong!
My favorite tuner so far!
I find this tuner easier and quicker to use than more expensive items I have.
I think the quality is excellent, it feels nice in your hands and appears to be very well made, I expect no problems with durability.
The metronome is a bonus for me having it in one unit, it's very convenient and works well.
great options as tuner and metronome at a great price
its great to have a tuner and a metronome at once at a great price and having to deal with regular batteries which are included.
Recommend this to everyone
This is better than I've expected. Has tons of options for this price range. You can change between guitar, ukulele, bass and other instruments when using this as a tuner. When switching to metronome there are options for quarter notes, eights, sixteens, triples and many more. Gives a good sound and has a fast tuner response. The LCD monitor is very bright, shines blue with white numbers and letters. I've bought this mostly for learning a double bass: tuning and keeping a steady tempo. Together with the tuner I got a micro microphone with an extension cord. You can mount it on a double bass bridge and get the best accuracy.
Build quality is ok, this thing is made of plastic, so there are some minor details here and there. Buttons feel right and everything is very easy to use. One thing I especially like is a metal support leg on the back. It feels very stable.
Recommend this to anyone. Either you play electric or use it for an acoustic instrument.
Doesn't eat batteries like a clip on
After getting sick to death with my clip on tuner eating batteries i decided to try one of these units
Large Clear blue digital display, clip on mic with a good length of lead, built in mic for acoustic (or vocalists) bypass, headphone socket Popup stand and a metronome which is great for warming up with and most importantly it takes proper batteries (x2 AAA) so it lasts for months,Super little unit go buy one.
Best budget tuner
This is a precise tuner, with a clear bright screen.
You can tune through the built in microphone or with a cable. It offers specific instrument tuning like guitar and ukulele, or a chromatic tuner (which will tune any instrument).
All I need!
Does everything it should and some more. Tuner, usefull also for find the pitch when singing, and Metronome with lots of different patterns. The include clip for tuning is also nice and useful. Easy to read!
Reccomended!
Good value tuner
This tuner is relatively easy to use and is great value for the price. The item is well made and as I just use it for standard tuning, I haven't tried any of the more advanced features yet.
Tuner
great tuner very sensitive
Pros - Very clear large display picks up even acoustic bass strings, Price excellent, You even get a plug in clip on mic
Cons - None
The tuner is very quality and precise. I would recommend it to everybody who needs precise tuner for less money.
Contained more than I thought
I bought this tuner mainly just to tune, and I read that this was capable of doing that, so I bought it.
When I started it up I was a little bit confused though of what every knob does, and so I accidental put on a metronome (Which I didn't even know it had), which was a nice feature to have and use it to practice now, but at first I didn't know how to turn it off. SO I spend about 5-10 minutes figuring that out. Though, I didn't read the manual to be honest, I could've probably found it in there.
But yeah, it can tune my guitar, which was the reason I bought it, and it does that perfectly, no trouble.
Great Cheap Tuner
I needed a extra tuner to replace a Korg that I stepped on.
This is a great inexpensive tuner ! I don't use the metronome but it appears to work in case you need it.
Accuracy is great, and a bright display that is easy to read. Absolutely nothing to complain about.
Excelent
I use it to check my tuning, excelent for alternate tunings, but also as a metronome. I tryed the included mic but also the electric jack.
Very versatille, good for guitars but also for violin, ukulelle, mandolin and bass.
Cool gadget
This will come in handy, trust me. You get a metronome and decent tuner (mic or jack). Bunch a features, doesn't break easily, and its cheap.
Just get one :)
better than I expected
It is better than I expected, my criterion was a fast response, it should not confuse or stuck somewhere. It has satisfied me, it also has a metronome, it would have been perfect in case it had the ability to show the frequency of the sound that is capturing but you get what you paid for, I believe for the money it is good and meets my demands.
Simple to use and very affordable!
The instructions card was clear and concise, and the tuner was simple to use. The mic was very sensitive, I didn't need the jack input at all. Batteries included, so it could be used immediately!
Tuner and metronome in one, all you need
Great unit, I used to have a tuner and a separate metronome. Having them combined is great, one less thing to forget.
Operation is simple and easy to figure out. Be aware this is a multi-instrument tuner so it's very slightly more complex than a guitar only one, in that pressing one of the buttons switches between instruments. No bother thought and obviously great if you play multiple instruments!
Tuning accuracy matches my other tuners using the microphone and plug in cable. It comes with a headstock attachment also which I'm sure also works fine.
Metronome volume is good.
For this price buy a few and leave them around the house and in your gig bag!
Just good
Compared to a few others, which I have home, this is a really nice gadget and considering the price you cannot really miss with it.You can tune, you can train rhytm and speed and that is most likely everything you expect from a tuner.
In terms of tuning there are two option - microphone and cable. If you have electric guitar, you will obviously have to use cable, but for acoustic guitars it seems that you can pick whichever suits you better as the pick-up quality is the same.
I have only one complaint which is that the cable with attachment is quite short and I have knocked the whole thing from the table or even my legs a few times. Additional 20 centimeters would be nice, but is is sufficient as it is.
works great
This has everything a tuner can have, plus yu got metronome and different beats to practise with plus tempo regulations, tuning option for specified string instruments guitar, bass, violin, ukulele etc. it comes with a pair AAA size batteris, and it has a lil stand at the back which can be used tp rise up the main body. It response quickly.
