Thomann DP-26 Reviews
Perfect !!!
Top quality for the price , Just prefect
Excellent Value
An excellent value keyboard. The sound and key weight are realistic enough to practice enjoyably.
After a few months, some of the keys stopped working
I like everything about this piano, but I've put a 1 star rating to get the attention of skeptical buyers, because after a few months some of the keys just stopped working. Became silent, without any reason. I have sent in a complaint, and will see what the resolution is... if this gets solved, I'm otherwise happy, but now I can't even use it at all.
Fedt Keyboard!
A true digital piano for an incredibly low price
This piano loses absolutely nothing to other more expensive brands, I would take this on stage in a heartbeat.
It's very well constructed, looks good and sounds amazing.
It's a great buy, professional musicians included.
Great
This is a great piano for the price, the keys feel really nice, maybe a bit too glossy in the beginning. The stock sounds are great as well.
Bang for your buck
This is a proper digital piano at a ludicrous low price (compared to the rest of the market).
I don't have much to say other than that: it's a really good digital piano. It has a few banks to record your playing which is cool. It has lots of sounds which are fun but I frankly only care about the two piano sounds.
So, yeah, it actually also doubles as a keyboard if you're interested in that. For me, I wanted a piano, so I don't care about most the other features. Maybe it would have been nice to get a couple more piano sounds.
The main downside of this piano is how bulky it is. It really is HUGE and it feels like it comes from the 90s or early 2000s (which it probably does?). In 2021 it should have been way slimmer and lighter. Also, the speaker grills are sort of grey/navy which makes it look really old and dated.
But, probably you just want the most affordable digital piano and will sacrifice looks and size for the price. If that's you, then get this one, you will not be disappointed.
Everything is very good, except that it does not have graded hammer. But its good for composing music and even practicing scales, etc.
Fantastic !!!!
wow!!
I bought this keyboard about a year ago and I feel great, I use it for conservatory and daily practice and I can say that the materials are great but what's great is the sound and all the modes available to play. The sound can be adjusted and this is very useful. In conclusion, I can say that I recommend it because the quality is much higher than the price. I think it's the best keyboard I've ever had
I am a beginner and I have bought this piano just to play songs on it. For its price it's worth it. The keys feel good to press on. The only problem I have is that recently, sometimes it makes electric static noises and electric sparkling noises at random moments, and then one of the speaker doesn't work. But when i turn the piano off and on again it works.
Very satisfied with the product
It's pretty heavy and large which makes it hard to handle, and the LCD display is very simple which makes it take a bit longer to get used to, but other than that, this is a digital piano I would recommend to anyone, especially beginners wanting to play any classical or modern piano piece, or to just have fun. It can also be used as a MIDI controller, although 88 keys aren't really required for that, so you can get an even cheaper keyboard. Having said that, this keyboard is extremely affordable and probably the cheapest keyboard of this quality you can find new anywhere.
Excellent Cost/Value
I did some research prior buying this piano and I'm happy with what I've got and I believe it's one of the best in the market for the price range.
Good for the price
One of the cheapest keyboard for this range of 88keys synthesizer with keys weight.
Impressed
Well, this is my first time with a digital piano. I have had a real piano for about a year, but had to give it away due to space issues. I wanted to buy a digital one, so I can keep practicing and learning. I chose this model because of the hammer action weighted keys and I am impressed. I know each piano has a different feel but the hammer action of the DP-26 feels really like the real piano I had. Also, the keys really look like the keys from a real piano.
The sound quality is good, although I believe it is a taste thing. I preffer the 2nd grand piano sound and I like speaker`s sound.
The build quality seems good. Firm plastic and it looks durable and strong.
i really could not see negative points about this product so I gave 5 stars for everything
Well, bottom line for me is: MONEY WELL SPENT!
Great for beginner
A great piano for a beginner. Bought for my daughter and I ended up using it so much myself that I will be buying a second for my studio.
Fantastic having the 88 weighted keys and is easy to move around for parties, gig, etc.
Not too many sounds available, but all we really use is the two main piano sounds. The transpose feature is really handy and easy to use, unlike some digital pianos I've used.
Would definitely recommend.
High value for price, perfect for beginners!
I bought this keyboard for one of my children, beginning to learn to play. As we were unsure if she would like it or not, we would not invest a too high price. Still, we wanted a suficient number of octaves, and most of all, a heavy touch. Well, not only she likes it very much, but we don't even feel the need for another keyboard, and won't for a long time, i guess.
great keyboard!
bought this for my nephew to start learning keys on, and it does the job quite well...however, the weighted keys arent as good as I thought they would be.
they don't feel as good as other entry level keyboard around this price range.
the onboard sounds are also just about ok'ish...nothing to be proud of, but like I said, for someone just starting out, its perfect!
if you're a DAW musician, then this can also help you a lot. connect it through USB and there you have a fully weighted midi keyboard
Good for beginners
The piano is well build and the plastic is sturdy. The weighted keys are very nice. The sound is not that great but you can always connected to a PC with a USB cable and use your sounds.
A nice affordable digital piano.
I got this keyboard to study and play a feel-like piano and it works great. I'm very happy with it. The manufacture is good and the overall quality is nice. The feeling is not the best but is pretty good.
On the cons I have two main things.
The sounds are meh but good enough to study. However, this is easy to solve through the MIDI capabilities.
The "advanced" features are not easy to use at all, I need to have the user manual close in order to do some stuff, for example, have two different sounds at the same time.
On an additional note, I use an iPad Pro 12" as my score reader and it fit perfectely, that was a really nice surprise.
To sum up, I would recommend this digital piano for study and for home recordings if you can record through MIDI.
