Great Horn

I played Jupiters through high school and college, could never afford my own flugel. For my first it’s a pretty rad find.

Not sure what the mouthpiece size is, but it gets the job done. Mine came with a small bottle of valve oil and a polish cloth which is generous.

Shipping was kind of ridiculous actually. UPS got it from Germany to the USA is just 5 days. That was cool.

Going to keep my eye on this supplier in the future.

Good, but...

Great, playable instrument. Heavy. It's in tune. Beautiful sound.

Cons:

Very poorly lacquered. After about a month of play, on certain parts continue to get patina.

A decent horn to try out

Not the easiest or most comfortable thing to play but, considering the price, it's good if you're just looking to try out a flugelhorn for the first time.

Plays good, sounds good.

Smooth valves an triger.

sound very open an projects very well.

In the high range not always perfectly in tune.

Can't compare to something 10x the price, but for the money an amazing horn!

Waitind for a just ok instrument. Better than ok! Its good! Keys are good, sound is good and i liked the mouthpiece! The case is not so good but its okey! VFM FOR SURE!

Outstanding flugel

For the price range this is an outstanding flugel. Great build quality great sound and lots of extras.

Good instrument however......

The sound is OKÉ however the coating is not strong and the risk of damaging is too easy. The instrument is a little heavy also. I like the colours of the coating, that is very special. After having played some time, next time I would better pay some more money to get a better instrument.

Brilliant Horn

Great sound and a pleasure to play. I also have a Schilke Flugelhorn but for me they both have quite unique sounds and thus they compliment each other quite nicely. Totally recommend this item.

Flugelhorn arrived very quickly.

It's a beautiful instrument with clear and warm sound and it's blowing very easy. In additional this brushed matt finishing it's a very nice. I recommended this FH-900 instrument with two hands ... ;) !
