nice one

I just started learning to play this beautiful instrument, and after couple weeks, my love for it grew. I play mostly at home, but sometimes I bring it with me for a trip, playing rehearsals etc. The sound, for a plywood, is rich and woody. All parts work correctly, and in the package is everything you need for you to start your journey with double bass.

Strongly recommended for beginners, the price will not kill you, and the quality is there for sure. The customer service is also worth mentioning, quick, helpful and professional

Moderate in its entirety.

Cheap construction, passable sound in relation to the price of and the the keys do not keep their tuning keys do not keep their tuning. Was received with damaged endpin.

Great for begginers

Great value for beginners like me. It doesn't break, sounds good with a set of new strings like D'Addario or Pirastro. All around good doublebass.

Beginner bass.

This is not the kind of bass you use for bowing solos in front of a philharmonic orchestra, but that was never the purpose of this bass.

I started out with one of these and it held up for several years of rockabilly abuse without letting me down. I trashed it around on stage, stood on it, pimped it with stickers and paint, had it scratced and played it outdoors. Lots of fun!

It has a weaker sound than more expensive basses, sure, and the tonal quality isn't that exciting either. But for a beginner, this is something to get you started, just make sure it is properly adjusted (go for the "Jazz" setup, unless you're strong as the incredible hulk) and if you feel the need for something more expensive after a couple of years, you can still keep this one for experiments or combat gigs out in the street!
