this is without doubt a very high quality laminate double bass,i would say it is the pinnacle of laminate basses. the build quality is of the very highest grade,it is beautifully made with high quality materials & components. it looks stunning,i always get very good comments at every gig i play with my Duke bass. it plays very nicely indeed,i find some things that were difficult to play on my old bass are now much easier to play on my Duke. the sound,oh the sound is just perfect being very deep & punchy with very well defined notes anywhere on the fingerboard.i play 1950's Rockabilly music & this bass delivers the perfect old school sound i want,my band love it too. the bass comes ready setup for Rockabilly slap style playing & it is set up to perfection,needing no...
