Small and Quiet

This gong is sweet, but quiet, great for personal play, but the sound isn't loud enough for sound baths.

Beautiful bell tone

I use these as a set of bells using a medium hard beater. The tone is lovely. Try replacing the cord with something thinner and the sustain will be much greated.

Really unique cymbal

Very well made cymbal,if you hit it soft it produces a sound similar to a bell with lots of low volume frequencies. If hit hard it produces an aggresive sound, something between a china and a crash cymbals with lots of attack. The only thing that holds it back is the size.I would opt for a bigger one one my next purchase. Its roughly around 14 cm in diameter.Overally i am very satisfied with it.

Gongtastic!

I found this gong to be ideal at a very good price. The beater was of good quality too. I purchased it as a dinner gong! But it is sufficient as a small music gong.
