No other acoustic guitar strings come close.

They just don't. This is the sound of the acoustic guitar I hear in my mind's ear. These strings help me realise the potential that lies in my dreadnought guitar. They aren't bright, and they help bring out the fundamentals in my notes more so than any other string. These are the strings you get when you're tired of other manufacturer's strings.

Great strings but

These are great strings, i love the really basey low E. The flatwound G kept breaking on my third fret though, as in the wound brass would snap, not the inner steel core. It takes a lot of pressure to bend that close to the nut. But if you don't bend strings much when playing they are exceptional sounding strings. Take into account my fret wiring on that guitar are antique style (fender paramount) and quite high. More modern style fretting mightn't cause the issue.

I have noticed similar complaints from other users.
