Snap fest
Sound and feel is top notch.
First package: G string snapped instantly.
OK, it happens I'll just order replacement.
Well, not gonna happen, no individual strings for purchase, I guess another 50€ then...
Replacement arrives, G string snaps again...
So 100€ and i play bass with no G string.
I'm no beginner, I've been playing string instruments over 20 years, this never happened before, and even if it is a bad luck, this is way to much money to make sure
Superb
Superb strings for my Mustang bass. higly recomended for the "Motown feel).
The only flats
The best, as ever....nothing more to say. Dont buy any other FW strings...simples'
Just great
If you're looking for a great thump from your bass with no top end, this is for you.
I use it on a Squier Jaguar short scale and an Epiphone Viola.
Very low tension, makes long time playing easy.
Great for country and bluegrass.
Lovely smooth bass strings
These strings feel classy straight out of the box and have a lovely smooth texture. They are a bit more expensive than a standard Bass string set but you get what you pay for here. I'm using them on a 60s hollow body violin bass copy and they are definitely complimentary. They allow the low fundamental frequency of the short scale bass to really poke through. They also keep everything very mellow sounding without that twangy scrape-y sound you often get from bass strings.
These strings are particularly suited to anyone who plays jazz or acoustic music. In conjunction with a hollow body bass you get that instant "plunky" Beach Boys style 60s bass sound.
Lovely.
Great strings
These strings are phenominal! I've fitted them to a Gibson SG bass, Fender 32" scale Precision and a Fender Mustang. Each time they brought out the best elements of the bass and were a joy to play. They are very kind on the fingers and last forever. Thoroughly great strings and highly recommended.
Sound great
Sound great on my beatle bass copy from china. Strong lows, no out-of-tune overtones on my shortscale bass. Lovely snappy/punchy sound when using bridge pickup, who needs a jazz bass? No squeeks when moving fingers around. Plenty of overtones for flatwound strings.
Excellent flats
Best flat strings I've played. These are short/medium scale, and the E string is very chunky. Great sound and feel, I wouldn't play anything else on my Fender P Bass (32 inch scale).
