This string is so full of tone and that is after very little playing in. I expect it to improve like the D Magnacore I have. The subtlety of the bowing and ease of playing is a real plus point for this string. When you know you have the best then anything becomes possible as you know what you want to achieve is actually possible. I will be using these stings from now on, it's hard to see how they can improve upon them.

Strings are always a subjective choice, needing to suit both player and instrument. I've tried quite a few strings over the years. I really like these, as a C & G choice, paired with Larsen A & Ds. They perform very well on my Eastman Master series cello, and have been my go to choice for a few years now.

After trying several other brands, I now have C and G Spirocore (Tungsten Wound) 'Light' on my cello. I team them up with Versum Solo A and D. This combination works great. The lower strings produce a powerful, clear sound which I find projects to the back of a concert hall. I think I'll be sticking to these from now on.

I have recently put a set of Jargar Superior strings on my cello. I previously used the Jargar Medium (blue) for the A and D, and Jargar Forte (red) for the G and D. I am finding the Superior have a clearer tone. I often have a problem with a metallic sound on a new C string, but after a short time the Superior played in and is much better. I am very happy with the result.
