great

i've been using this brand for 15 years and i have no reason to change.

i'm a full time jazz musician so mainly pizz, and renew the strings maybe every 2 years.

when you change strings, plan at least a month ahead to allow them to settle into the perfect sound before a recording.

very happy with them

Great strings.

These strings are great. They improved the sound of my double bass a lot in comparison to the cheap set that I had on before. They have a better feel also.

I play a bit of jazz, folk and pop music and these strings are good for all of them. I use the bow very rarely and they sound good with the bow also.

The sound is very balanced across all strings with nice bottom end and well defined middle and top end.

The only thing I found not to be so good about theses string is the slap sound. It is doesn't seem to be bright enough, but they are just about usable for that.
