A good value traveler guitar

Summary: A good value guitar with looks that are sure to turn heads. :) Great choice for a traveler guitar.

Use: I was looking for a traveler guitar and hence this one caught my attention. I plan to take a guitar with me outdoors to picnics and hiking trips and wasn't gonna risk taking my more expensive guitars. I was considering between this, the Traveler Redlands Concert or the Eastman ACTG1. I settled on this because of the price point.

Pros: This guitar looks way above its price. It sounds loud, and so is perfect for what I needed it for. It still sounds "boxy," but I believe it will get better with use, since it's a solid top. The built-in tuner is great, and the tuners are easy to use. Good playability too.

Cons: I didn't expect the finish to be a high gloss. I guess you have to be careful when taking it outdoors as scratches may be visible.

Note: This model comes with the older "Shadow" pickup - batteries are accessible through the sound hole - which may be a hassle. However, since I don't really intend to use it live, it's not a big deal.
