Excellent pedals

I bought these in 2019, and they are still playing like new. Butter smooth and rock solid. Absolutely the best pedals I have ever owned, or even played.

Amazing

I had heard a lot about this pedal but never tried one

So I pulled the plug and ordered one

Went from a dw 9000 to the trick

About 10 mins to get used to it and then boom what an amazing pedal

Each strike against the the bass drum is more precise and stronger

A game changer

A serious direct drive pedal

I love NEARLY everything about my dominator. The one thing i dislike is the fact that it's not as stable as I'd expect

Very solid pedal, but not usable in small drums

Overall, an amazing pedal with very solid construction and absolutely accurate response.

Coming from chain pedals, the direct drive was a big difference for me. However, after a few minutes adapting to it I could already play solidly at much higher speeds that with my old Millenium PD-222.

However, it has two major flaws that did not work well with my setup.

First, the slave pedal has no spikes below or anything to attach it to the rugs other than some adhesive Velcro straps. And these would not stick to the type of rugs that I use, so I had to put something else in front of the pedal to hold it pedal in place.

Second, and most important, the two maces are very off-center. The right mace hits the bass drum right in the middle, but the left one hits about 5 inches to the side. I guess that this would not be a problem in a 22 or 24 inches bassdrum, but for my 20 inches one, the sound and rebound difference was just too much.

Sadly, I ended up returning it to get another one with spikes and centered maces.

very good pedals

fast, precise, suited for all playing styles, with a lot and easy adjustment possibilities ! been playing them for 2 years now, never regretted it so far! Also very easy to switch from double to 2 single pedals !!! Wich makes it perfect for the touring drummer !

Pricey but worth it

I had an Axis Dominator which was serving me fine. I had a few problems with it though, some squeaks I couldn't get out anymore, and my beaters would fly loose sometimes after hard hitting: annoying during a gig!

So I bought these and I haven't looked back! Super well constructed: rock solid! No squeaks at all and so many setup options. Fantastic!!!
