Pearl P-2052C Eliminator Pedal
Based on 7 reviews
As a drummer who have tried lots of pedals, and a previous owner of the regular Eliminator and Demon Drive. The Eliminator Redline is the best of the both that I have previously owned. As customizable as the regular eliminator but definitely smoother and lighter, and as fast as the Demon Drive (or might be less because it's not a direct drive). The Redline beaters has a better and more practical design than it's predecessor and DD's, I love the sound and feel of the linear (horizontal) plastic side on the bass drum. The default settings is amazing and you can unleash it's full potential that suits you if you know the feel that you're looking for. Pros: Beautiful design. Heavy duty, very smooth, very quiet and very precise. Almost as precise as a direct driven pedal. Not much of a...

DW 9002 Double Pedal

This pedal is a tank. Built from very good and reliable materials. Designed simple and engineered wisely. Very smooth and can be infinitely adjustable. - The chain can be adjusted to give different length. - The beater cam can be adjusted and change the cam design by simply turning a screw to adjust the acceleration and torque of the pedal. - The cam can be turned on its axis to change the distance between the beater and the drumhead. - Tension of the spring can be tightened or loosened. - Toe stops come included with the pedal and can be connected. (Optional) - The rubber grips ensure that no damage is done to the wooden drum hoop. - The Cardan shaft (shaft connecting both pedals) is very long and allows a multitude of positions. - Can be used as a single pedal without any hassle. Simply fantastic.
Sonor DP 4000 S Double Pedal

this is the new best seller after the eliminators. if you are searching for a linear response pedal in a classic camco design with a modern twist then this is the pedal. i think it is better from the 5000s, the letters on the footboard always annoyed me, also better from the eliminators cause you can easily remove the spring for practising purposes which is very important to me, and the price is far better from the above and from many others and from sonor! pros -great response -removable spring -craftmanship -minimal tweaking -great value for money cons -i would prefer a version with a strap -i would prefer classic felt bealters like perfect balance -slave pedal doesnt transforms into single i had eliminators for years, i sold them when i saw this pedal, it had all i wanted...sonor...

This is a very durable, well built pedal. It is truely a great upgrade from the Eliminator series, which I had before this. It is fast and smooth to play on and offers a huge amount of customisation options. The beaters are good, though I don't really like the felt beaters by personal preference. Nothing wrong with the ones that come with it though! The longboards adjustments are excellent and offer a hugely sensitive and fast alternative to the standard setup. Personally, I don't use the longboard setup out of preference but from what I've experienced with them, they're great for doing stuff like heel-toe beats etc or for metal players. The chain-drive delivers a clear, powerful stroke which is exactly what I like and is a dependable piece of hardware. If I'd anything to nit pick,...
DW 3002 Double Bass Drum Pedal

As a musician i always need to be able to trust my kit. I have been playing for 17 years now, and have owned and used a multitude of different makes and models of drums and hardware. Having made the decision to invest in a decent double pedal, to replace the mapex thing i was using, i immediately looked at DW, with a reputation for quality and longevity i felt there was no way i could go wrong. While the 5000 and 9000 series pedals seemed excessively expensive, the 3000 series offered me a good step up into the world of top end gear without breaking the bank. I have had them now for over a year and they have never let me down, having toured them accross the UK and Ireland!

This Bass Pedal is not one of those feather like bass pedals. It is solid and robust DW quality and a beautiful piece of craftsmanship. It has got a solid feel to it, with good attack on the bass drum skin. You really feel the pedal working in a good way but its still smooth and when you adjust the spring action how you like, it can really move quickly but with a punch. I would recommend greatly trying different beaters, the DW ones are very head heavy (which isn't all bad) but with different beaters you get a totally different feel and attack. There are pedals out there with a smoother foot plate for sliding, that being said you can still slide on this JoJo Mayer style with some effort, just not as easy haha, but that's nice for when you want to just sit into the pedal and groove...
Trick Drums Big Foot Black Widow Pedal ltd

The best double pedal I ever owned. Equal to the very expensive CK pedals in quality and durability. I've had Pearl Eliminators, Axis Longboards and Tama Speedcobras, but the these sure does the "Trick" for me ;-) So easy to adjust and get used to. I played the Axis longboards for 9 years(trying every setting without satisfaction), before shifting to the Speedcobras that I actually really liked(especially for touring, as they are a breeze to transport and set up quickly), but the overall feel of the Tricks convinced me to buy it. It will never be replaced. Only "bad" thing is that it is not as easy on the go, as the Speedcobra, but it sure makes up for it playingwise.

i have had my eyes on speed cobras for quite a long time now and they are truly amazing. they are ridiculously smooth, they are multiple points on which you are able to modify and them points are pretty much all you need. straight out the box they feel amazing even with 5 mins of playing with settings they can feel even more amazing the more time you spend the better they get better i even felt like my playing improved slightly. pros... incredibly smooth bearings, springs feel great, there is next to no wiggle on the foot bored. pedals comes in a hard case well designed and the pedals use hex head screws as well as lugs and the drum key has the lug key and hex head key, the slave pedal has a holder that holds the key really securely cons with the pedals...the springs make a weird rattly...
Pearl P-3002D Demon Double Pedal
Based on 11 reviews
I use this with my black/gothic band and made my drumming steadier and more effortless. I have it for a few months and see no play in the universal joint. Seems built like a tank and it's the fastest pedal I've used so far, hopefully will keep going without any play. Previously had a direct drive yamaha, but this pedal is so much steadier, doesn't move, it's built to last like an iron cobra pedal. Pros: Steady, fast, longboard conversion, very little lag in the slave pedal Cons: For slower tempos type of music probably a chain driven would be better. Played before on iron cobra and yamaha direct drive, and this is certainly faster then both and doesn't add movement when you slide your feet heavily unto it. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to play fast at a fracture of the...
