Tape Simulation Plug-In

Latest User Reviews
Full featured Tape emulation
Realistic sounding tape simulation, with plenty of features and options.
I bought this having seen that both Tchad Blake and Andrew Scheps have this on their mixbuss. Though quite an expensive plugin, it definitely sounds worth it. I've not yet explored all the features (there are many), but the graphical EQ curve gives me a fairly good impression of what I am doing to my signal. This is good at both the subtle stuff, and the wilder stuff. I have found so far that the low end bump you can give stuff on the master bus has worked better than Eq-ing. It some how makes more sonic sense to my ears.
It is compatible with older operating systems and pro tools versions (i'm on v.10) as well as newer systems. Seems to be fairly light on CPU so far, no slow loading or crashes...and i don't have the best system.
Looking forward to start trying this on drum room mics and vocal chains!
