Universal Audio UAD-2 Satellite USB Octo
External USB 3.0 DSP System

Latest User Reviews
Great workhorse, top notch sound.
Very good though expensive. Limited to Win. Plug ins not cheap either.
Works without headache
Plug in, update firmware. Forget about it and start making music. Perfect. Very happy with the capacity of the OCTO unit. No issues with USB disconnections etc on Win10 x64 with USB3.0 ports.
Powerhorse
I was looking for the most realistic hardware gear emulations and as everybody knows AU is one of the best if not the best company in emulating hardware. On top of that theyr plugins run on this efficient external accelerator which is more than convenient if you want to save your PC processing power for other tasks. The only negative thing is that it's not interchangeable between PC and Mac machines. Other than that I'm very happy with it.

It enables me to work very fast and without hindering my CPU. A very good investment!
Don't look elsewhere, this is simply perfect
Bought it to expand the capabilities of my Apollo Twin USB audio interface and it works smoothly with my Studio One DAW.
As I'm using a lot of plugins it was a no brainer to add this accelerator to my setup. Now it is time to go for larger projects, limit is the sky.
