Perfect for the price
About the audio interface: Such an upgrade compared to my former Focusrite 2i2 1st gen!! *Pros* * The quality of the audio interface shows -> robust, solid, stable * Works perfectly on Windows 10 and Linux * The little led indicators to show the input volume are perfect, same for the output * The button to select which input to listen to in the head set is very convenient (you push multiple times and you select which input to hear) For info: the 48V powers both inputs! *Cons* * The "vintage" button -> I haven't heard much difference when pressing it * Maybe more gain would be enjoyable? But really, it's already good, it would just be a little more comfy to have a more powerful amp, but I acknowledge that this is asking for a lot *About the microphone* * It's a good one * I recorded a few songs (guitar+voice) and the result is very good * I already have a Samson MTR101A and the provided microphone in this set is almost equivalent in quality! * I say "almost equivalent" because, I have to push the gain very very high to get some dynamic on this mic, I tried to use a fethead on it but "heh" the result was not great :( *About the provided headset* * It's surprisingly good, I consider it as a bonus * But it seems solid and good quality (usually the plastics age bad...but this headset seems to be well made though) The provided XLR cable is good...it's a cable ^^
