Great sticks

These for me are the perfect sticks. Perfect weight. Perfect length. Very durable too! Would absolutely recommend!

Surprisingly durable

I mostly play hard rock and metal and I'm a somewhat heavy hitter. 5Bs and even 2Bs are my weapons of choice, and they don't usually last too long, although Vater have proved more resistant than others. Occasionally I do play something lighter, a balad or similar and like to switch to lighter sticks that allow for much softer dynamics. Other 7As have not fared well on those occasions with me, but I was completely impressed by these. I even started using them on heavier songs that required more finesse in playing and they held up heroically. I also really like the barrel head which gives off a great cymbal sound. They are thin (as 7As shpuld be), but they don't feel like toothpicks in my hands. I would definitely recommend these for great feel, durability and sound.

_THE_ versatile stick for the lighter drummer

Is just really my go to stick for all kind of music, and i actually ultimately require this stick for the very distinct rim shot sounds that just has that shout.

Ich hatte sie mir für ein paar Lieder mit Marschwirbeln und gleichklingenden Beckenanschlägen geholt, dank Kugelspitze auch super möglich.

Sie sind in der gewohnten Vater-Qualität also mMn. mittel-lange Haltbarkeit bei "normaler" Spielweise (mit Rebound und Dynamik)

Auch das typische Vater nass-rutschfeste Griffgefühl ist wieder mit dabei.

Angenehme Stöcker für einen speziellen und allgemeinen Einsatzweck.

Very light drum sticks with circular head which I love for jazz and cymbal work. I buy these all the time. I almost never have them break during gigs - only slowly worn away after months and months of gigging.

One time I had a defective stick which broke on the first hit during a sound check - I contacted Vater to tell them and the next week they sent me 3 free pairs!

Quality control failure

These are nice sticks, light with a nice feel. However, one stick from the pair that I received had a badly finished tip - two or three splinters have broken away during manufacture or finishing.

I'm sure I've probably just received a 'bad pair' from a reputable manufacturer, but it does make me doubt the Vater 'hand-rolled and inspected' claim a little.

all around sticks

good sticks, very good brand. It was suggested me by my drummer. Nice and light, good balance. It is hard to suggest a stick, it is a very personal thing. Nevertheless, these are good quality, worth a shot

Lovely Drumstick

I bought these drum sticks for home use practicing and rehearsing. I prefer these sticks as they are quite slim and longer the other sticks I have previously used. I will be using these sticks from now on I imaging. They are great quality and I haven't had any trouble with them since I bought them.

These sticks are the best iv ever come across! They feel like the perfect wait. not too heavy but not too light either. Can really fly around the kit with ease. if your technique is right, these sticks will last you a long time. The wooden ball tops give superb cymbal control. ALSO, these sticks are not same length as your average 7a, they are slightly longer.
