Extremely good for vocals

Is a must for vocals. Very soft and subtle effect which really softens and widens sounds

Very nice and flexible spring reverb

Very nice. I’ve used this now with a JC22 and a AC15C1X (vox really could have done better with the reverb on that one.

The reverb itself sound very good with both amps. With the box I split the guitar signal and go into the map channel I am not using, and it improve on the amps reverb night and day. ,

A very nice thing about this unit are the connection options, which allow it to sit in a amplifier loop, connect it a mixing desk, or even in the front of the amp and plug the guitar into it thanks to the high impedance input, which is conveniently Located on the front.

The reverb has a dark tone to it that I quite like. I guess describing it as warm wouldn’t be faroff. There is also a tone knob which cuts or boosts the highs, which provides some extra tone variation. Sounds fine to me at zero anyway.

Well done Vermona. If you do need a flexible spring reverb I’m not sue you can do better at anything near this price.

Best spent money in my live and studio rack

OK, so it's a on trick pony, but it does it better than a Bricasti M7, whose rubber feet cost more than this unit. Lovely, organic, natural, musical reverb, absolutely fantastic on vocals, also or a snare drum especially if gated.

If I were to nit-pic I would like a bit lower noise level and a balanced in & out connections, but hey, it's a spring reverb, it's supposed to be a bit noisy, it's all part of the charm. You owe it to yourself to try it in your studio.

Excellent spring reverb unit with a warm tone.

We needed a rackmounted spring reverb for our studio as I am a vocalist and fussy about the type of reverb used on my vocal. I do not enjoy the sound of digital reverbs as I find them artificial and wanted a simple spring reverb to give my voice some space around it.

I intitialy reviewed this several months ago and awarded 3 stars for the features as they are limited but I have subsequently decided to return and award 5 stars. I will still qualify this by saying that whilst its true it doesnt provide many features, thats not what it is designed for and there are other models in the range that have more features if thats what you need.

The reason Im awarding it 5 stars is that this item delivers exactly what it sets out to do. It is a beautiful reverb sound, particularly for people who prefer the warm vintage tone of an analogue reverb as opposed to digital.
