Dynamic sticks

As a big fan of Questlove his work, I bought these sticks wondering how different they were from a standard 5A and how they were formed for him.

He is a pocket drummer, not playing a lot of notes and not that often on high volume, but he still has definition on toms and cymbals. This pair of sticks really feels like an extension of his playing.

It's longer and thinner than a normal 5A and it has the VicGrip in a black finish. The oval tip sounds great for defined sounds. I recommend this for players who are looking for a light stick with grip, and who wants something else :-)

Perfect

I used to use the SJOR Steve Jordan signature but found they break too easily. I have tried many many pairs of sticks in over 20 years of playing and these are perfect for what I need.

The Vic Stick Grip is great too for those sweaty gig venues; it allows me to play without fear of losing grip

Nice stick, not only for funk but also for jazz.

Pros:

- Elegant design

- VF quality

- Vic Grip material. My hands sweat easily and this Vic Grip is awesome for it.

Info about sticks:

- Very thin.

- Longer than the average.

- Long taper.

The aforementioned qualities make the sticks good for Jazz and Funk. But not a heavy-funk style, but more like the way Questlove uses them, by playing a little bit to the offset of the center of the snare.
