Perfect

I find these sticks to be very durable and amazing in overall performance, especially for people who want more attack and heavier sticks

Perfect

Everything feels great about them. Super glad I switched from 5As to those.

Great quality

I recommend this size to everyone as it was suggested to me. Although I cant play too long with this stick comfortably because of its heavy structure. But the quality of sound it makes the drum to produce is simply incredible you can feel the difference right away. And playing with this size gives your wrist a good exercise so when you play later with lighter size like 5A. It will feel extra light and can play faster.

Perfect heavier stick.

I use these sticks for practice on an electronic drum kit.

They are significantly bigger than the 5A/5B sticks from Vic Firth but in my experience they can still be used to play very fast. The added weight helps to strike harder and feels nice in the hands for playing the push-pull technique.

Pro:

- significantly bigger than 5A/5B sticks, but not too heavy for most players

- weight feels nice for push-pull technique

Con:

- none

Conclusion:

Recommended for anyone who wants to try a bigger/heavier stick than the standard sizes.

Best sticks for me

If you want to use 2B sticks, these are by far the best I have tried out. Extremely durable, well balanced, and reasonably priced, I use these sticks for practicing and live shows. Sometimes I'll move down to 5As or 7As for recording, just to get a more closed tone from the drums.

Chunky feel and bassy sound

• Consistent

• Chunky but not massively heavy

• Very soft, like all the natural finish Vic Firths

• Perfect if you feel that 5As are too flimsy or if you want a thicker and lower sound from your cymbals!

Nowadays, I use 5As more but always have a pair of those as a backup and I feel at home with these two. I don't suddenly struggle with fast fills or whatever. Definitely worth buying a pair!

Vic Firth delivers

Quite heavy drumsticks, but ideal if you're a heavy hitter. Takes a bit of time to get acustomed to the weight and feel if you're begining to play with them but it's worth it. I've been playing this size for more than a year now and they feel great. Full and clear sound with great projection. Great for metal! More durable than other brands

I'm sticking to these!

I've been using heavier/bigger sticks. with these 2B sticks I have a closer more controlled/balanced feel with the drums. I feel they help me play better and sound more natural in different dynamics.

Been using them for years

Nice & thick. Very well-made. I used to have issues with breaking sticks, but these ones can take an absolute beating. Highly recommended if you play heavy & want sticks that can handle every hit.
