galway drum school verses the VFRUTE brushes

..the only choice for me when it comes to VICFIRTH STICK type brushes the ones with the yellow handles (Steve Smith model) only last for about 3 gigs..after that whats left over is only any good for scratching your back or propping up a garden plant!

Good...but not great

I've used these in several different settings and overall they are GREAT Rute brushes...perfect for in between regular brushes and sticks...but they do tend to chip away a little easily around the tips...which is normal to an extent.
