Apsolutely love this Amp. Once you download the app and conect to Laptop you can have whatever sound you want. For such price this is the real deal. Solid built, nice looking, a bit retro and it can go in line with any top dollars amps, literaly.

Great combo

This was my first guitar combo. For myself it sounds great, have few options but it can gave you a great tone. I use it like two years and that was great.

Points positifs :

- Il existe plusieurs modes pour changer le rendu du son, ce qui est sympathique.

- Bel esthétisme

-Bonne qualité, robuste

Points négatifs :

- Etonnement, la poignée n'est pas centrée, ce qui rend vraiment peu pratique le transport

-Le son sature parfois lorsque je change de mode. Défaut de fabrication unique ou récurent ? Je ne saurais dire.

Dans l'ensemble c'est un bon produit.

Versatile

This is a versatile combo, with decent sounds and nice effects. Having said this, I do not use it anymore. Has nothing to do when compared to my collection of valve amps (blackstar, bugera, laney, rivera, marshall & ENGL). For a comparable price you get responsiveness with tube amps; the armonics, the warmess of the sound of a tube amp is significantly better. The cleans of a real 6L6 or the distorsion of an EL34 is not comparable with the simulations of VOX VT40

This amp does everything i wanted. Has amazing pre-sets and is quiet enough for home use. If you are looking for an all around amp to play with at home just buy this one. Also he looks amazing

The sound is out of this world !!!

For the price, it sounds amazing! Even beating amps double the money.

It sounds very valve like and looks decent.

I don't like the controls (feel a bit cheap) and the app is just awful...

You can get a decent tonal range with this amp, but imo, the biggest reason to buy it, is that it sounds close to a valve amp for very cheap!

For 215€ , I 100% refommend it to anyone looking for a new practice amp!

Btw, it gets very loud for 40w!

The Vox VT40X, is very easy to use and if you use the USB with computer it's even more easy and you'll see more options to change your tone.

The only thing that I dislike in this amplifier is the fact that you don't have an output to record out.

The sound of the amp is incredbly great and you have to many tools to change your tone, to many pedals and also to many preset sounds, from Vox and from some well-known songs.

The workmanship is amazing, this is the most beautiful amp that I ever saw.

In short, this amplifier is amazing and very good to beginners and advenced guitar players. Also it's very good to play with it in a band!
