The most affordable hardware digital synthesizer in the world!)))

Just a godsend for owners of the CME midi keyboard.

I don’t know how anyone, but I like the sound of this synthesizer. If you are not a snob, but just a musician, you will like it too. The build quality is quite decent. And the inscription "Waldorf" warms the soul. If this product were released as a separate module, I would buy two more.

Sorry for my English.

"Synth" might be an exaggeration in the description, but it's good for the price

This is not an actual synthesizer as much as a "Rompler". You cannot tweak the sounds in the way you can with a synthesizer. It's more a bunch of banks with sounds you can use, but you can't tweak them.

The sound is OK, to be honest I found it a bit buggy, volume would stick, and I had to restart the CME UF7 which I had it mounted in. I had it connected with the CME UF DP-1 (Piano), and you could fade between them, which was a pretty decent effect, but this required a mixer to get both outputs at the same time.

The pads were pretty nice on this board, but to be absolutely honest - I would rather by a Waldorf Blofeld and put it on top of the CME UF7, the price difference isn't really much to talk about, and then you'll have better pads, and a whole lot of other sounds as well - And the possibility of tweaking the sounds to your preference.

All in all OK, but really not much too it compared to a simple external synthesizer.

Don't waste your money

This product isn't good enough to class as a toy. There are many specific problems with it.

The sound quality is not very good generally (some voices are quite muffled).

The customer service is poor. The instructions in the manual for selecting banks and voices are incorrect, with the result that for over a week I couldn't access anything other than the first bank. It took a long time for customer service to reply to my enquiry about this issue. In the end I got the correct procedure from a guy who had posted a video of the nano on YouTube.

I ordered it with the piano module and the cable which is required to daisy chain the modules was not supplied, so I couldn't even install the modules for a couple of weeks until customer service sent the cable on after.

I hardly use it and regret buying it.

Nano goodness

I bought this card to use it by CME keyboard. the quality was very good sounds are excellent it was very easy to install. If you want to turn your midi controller keyboard into a real cool synthesiser then this can't be beat the price.

One thing to note is that there are no controls is literally a card that fits inside the keyboard. to access any of the sounds you need to use your host daw to send program changes etc to the card.

He also receives a full range of continuous controller messages, the sound of a Waldorf seen inside your mini controller keyboard how cool is that.

Highly recommended products and would buy again.
