Walrus Audio Mira
Effect Pedal

Great pedal, but sadly not what I was looking for
Was looking for a more versatile compression pedal for my bass guitar (and electric guitar and Rhodes a bit too). I currently have Fender the Bends, which is great but lacks all the fancy options.
After a day of testing I came to the conclusion I like The bends better. It's easier to set up and it manages to control the attack peaks of my bass guitars better. With the Mira I kept having that percussive peak at the beginning of the note. Some might like that, tho. I like the bass guitar to be subby and not interfere with the punch of the kick. So for now I stay with The Bends and perhaps try some other pedals with more options.
