Great!

Great for subtle guitar compression and a bit more sustain when you need it. I'm a multi-instrument producer and not one of those people obsessed with guitar tone. Unless you are a hard-core pedal freak this smaller version of the Ego is sufficient compared to the more expensive, larger Ego.

Just great

Smallest but most useful participant in the pedalboard!

Use it on keys live

Tiny and works great. I use it on my keyboard set-up for concerts. Fits nicely between other pedals and it does it's job. Never gave me a problem. Solid, good eq, tiny. Great.

Holy guac I love this compressor. Very simple to use but a lot of options, and takes up a very minimal amount of real estate on my board.

Highly recommended!

For wampler compressor fans

Maybe good for one who into bigger Wampler Compressor.

I found it a bit noisy, when comparing with MXR Dyna Comp mini. Also, Mix was not that handy for me.

But if Wampler compressor sound is your sound, it worth to try. Built quality is great, and a lot of features for such a small pedal.

Very good. Not excellent but very good

Very good. Almost as bigger brother, almost. First of all Wampler means premium quality and no doubt it is. Comparing to bigger brother (I have both) I noticed slightly higher level of floor noise but it is still premium quality - comparing it with Dyna Comp it's differend league. The only I could complain is tone toggle swith. 2-positions is not enough and sometime I feel it too dark and sometimes too bright. Perfect would be 3-pos switch.

Great compressor

Far better than the xotic SP for my TELE Elite as this one does not colour the sound like the SP. I mention the xotic because it was the other alternative I tried for parallel compression, and I found this one much more transparent and overall better in terms of control of the sound.

perfect size, I can squeeze this one easily in my pedalboard in an otherwise unused space between pedals. amazing job from Wampler.

As a solo performer (Guitar, vocals, footdrums) i bought the EGO mini to tighten up and add sustain to my tone. It did that very well.

I only have experience of a very cheap compressor before and never really heard the effect of that pedal. The EGO bites through and really adds alot. Brings your tone to life I would say.

I use compression as an 'always on' effect again to add clarity to my guitar tone. Having not tried the full sized EGO so I can not compare but the mini has the same functions. The knobs are close together but for me no problem as It is always on so I never really 'tweak it'

The small size means there is nothing not to like. I can not say if cheaper compressors are better or worse but I was happy to pay the price of a wampler. I have Euphoria overdrive and Pinnacle Distortion also. Both work amazing well with the EGO.
