The probably best Klon style pedal

Another win for Wampler! What an amazing take on the Klon... The Deluxe version add even more versatility with the EQs, this is a must have pedal for any pedalboard especially to push your Strat beyond. It also stacks very well with other Overdrive! You can buy with your eyes closed!

This pedal is ridiculously good. Would recommend to anyone. Perfect transparent overdrive. Given the fact, that it has this powerful eq, it also so flexible.

Best K style overdrive ever!

I have the original mini Tumnus and decided to get the Deluxe because of the more tonal shaping options. I wasn't disappointed. You can get every kind of tone out of it - clean boost, light overdrive, more overdriven silky smooth sounding drive, even mid to high gain, thanks to the HOT switch. I recommend it to everyone that looks for killer tones and versatility. It works in a lot of situations!

Too nasal for my taste. Maybe I am not into klon.

Excellent Product

You can use this pedal a a “Klon” style tone shaper or a full blown overdrive/boost pedal, it is equally at home in both scenarios, also stacks well with other overdrives, I’ve been using it into my Tube Screamer then OCD & am delighted with the results. The quality is first rate.

One of the best Klon style pedals

I already had two different Klon style pedals, but they don't have a EQ. That's where the Tumnes Deluxe comes in!

First of all: it can sound pretty much identical to the other Klon style pedals, the trick is to cut some bass (at noon there will be much more bass than with stock Klon style pedals) and let it have some mids and treble. But of course it can do much much more than a default Klon pedal. It can even do semi high gain stuff with the added control. Long story short: sound wise it's great.

The quality is superb. The foot switch especially stands out with a great feel. Another great feature is the input and output placed on the back of the pedal. For real, more pedal makers should do this, it saves much needed space on pedal boards. Mine came with a empty battery though (worked for only a few minutes before dying). I'll subtract some points for this.

Absolute satisfaction

Great and universal overdrive. Sounds amasing. I can say only positives. It came with the 9V Wampler battery inside, which is nice.

I only had to get used to be more carefull when pressing the switch, because sometimes I slightly turned Level, or Gain knob with my foot.

No womp womp for Wampler

The sound sounds like the other thing it's supposed to sound like. Identical. And you have more EQ options. Small, perfectly formed. Feels solid in the hand. A nice booster that fattens and compresses. Good value too.
