Not my cup of tea

Not really my cup of tea, went back to nickel pretty quick.

Much better then many other famous brands

I have discovered this strings by accident and after purchase I have found out that after 1 year of playing they are still sounds fresh like a new. Highly recommended. I play bass with pick in punk rock band.

Best budget strings you'll find

I've been using this string brand as my main one for the last 6 years and I've never been disappointed with them. They're great sounding strings and for this price, they simply can't be beat.

Of course, if one can afford something more "premium" for the specific use of recording or something similar, they are encouraged to do so. But even a fresh pack of warwick reds, can solidly get the job done. Please note, that for optimal sound quality and overall experience you should be changing your strings relatively often.

As always, this warwick string set are crisp and very well balanced in tone and tension.

Budget bass strings that do the job

Yes, there are probably much better / nicer bass strings out there, but if you're struggling with the higher price tags of other sets, then these will do the job just fine and at a smidge of the cost.

I don't play bass much, but I have a bass knocking about that I use from time to time and I wanted some strings I could bang on it and forget about. These did the trick nicely.

Although they don't retain their brightness for as long as some other strings, this has never been a problem for me - at this price, one can get a few sets and change strings more regularly, rather than the old-school boiling of expensive strings in an attempt to get the brightness back.

Excellent clarity

These strings are really and amazing product, especially for the price, the tone is really bright and punchy and has plenty of clarity even when going down to C, mine is currently tuned to drop C# and the tension is still good too. Their brightness also complements the slap technique and picking and works well with an overdriven tone. If you play metal, punk, rockor any genre that requires a clear, bright tone I highly suggest you check out these strings, this gauge is really good for detuning but if you only tune to standard, you can get a lighter gauge, which will surely be easier on your hands.

Best buy for bass strings

I have used these for years, and I'm very satisfied. They sound more than good enough, and are so cheap it's easy for the wallet to change often. No wonder they don't sell these at music stores, because they would outsell all the other brands in no time at all!! The nickel variant are a little brighter than the plain steel, but only for a short while.. Higly recommended!

It depends on your taste...

These strings are very cheap. First choice, if you are on a budget. I just wanted to give them a try and experience what I would get for my money.

I had no problems putting them on my bass, quality seems okay to me. But already then I noticed the scratchy surface of the strings. I also had no problems while tuning them. Everything's fine.

The Warwicks provide a very brilliant sound, aggressive highs, especially when played with a pick. The low end is okay. So all in all the sound is not bad.

The downside is that these strings are really really scratchy. The rasp the skin from your fingers. Nearly NO playing comfort at all.

I can't say, if they last long, because I ripped them from my bass early because it was too uncomforable to play them.

So... Great value for the money, if you are a really tough guy!
