Let's face it - most people buying these are installers. They are the easiest speakers to hang I have ever encountered and that is very important. Occasionally good sounding speakers have badly designed brackets leading me to dismiss them. These are the best brackets on the market. You wire the tiny but strong brackets and then simply click the speaker into place - no ladder trouble. Sound wise they are capable. No woofer of this size is gonna push much bottom end but the mid and high range clarity is pretty good. I'll be buying plenty more of these!!

JBL Control 1Pro WH Pair

JBL Control 1Pro WH Pair

I have been a fan of JBL for many years having a pair of L15s as part of my hifi set up. I have a pair of control ones in my home studio for recording playback and on a recent design project I specified them for a store installation in London. They are in the Pineapple Dance Studio Store in Covent Garden where in white they almost disappear into the decor but deliver great quality sound within a fairly large space. The client was very pleased. As usual the JBL quality shines through at all levels - good bass and clarity. I would buy them again and again......

I bought these for monitoring my home recordings and now run my personal hi fi through them. The response is crisp, clear, with all frequencies well preserved. I listen to lots of fifferent genres and styles, from esoteric vocals, orchestral, rock to electronica, and am very impressed. I haven't pushed them really hard, so I can't vouch that they won't distort at really high volumes, but at normal listening levelsin a family living room, it's surprising how mugh (good) sound can come out of such little boxes. Reccommended!

Bought These for a all hands canteen install 8 in total ran in daisy chain 100v line. The 4.2t is a capable speaker with good clarity and plenty of power, clean and stylish looking, The mounting brackets are easy to install and very versatile for easy speaker positioning. I have used the Ev evid range many times for many different reasons and have always found them to be great looking and sounding speakers and if you are looking for a little more punch you can use the 6.2`s or just add in the evid sub for better low end response.the EV Evid range can cater to a wide variety of locations from a small meeting room the 3.2`s or to a large bar system the 6.2`s I would highly recommend the EV evid Range.

Behringer 1C-BK

I've been a Behringer fan for years. Well made products at affordable prices. My brother asked me to get him a sound system for a small living room. He wanted speakers with not too much bass response so as not to annoy the neighbours. He is not a fan of surround sound. When I saw these I thought hell yeah! We could give them a try and if he didn't like them we could take advantage of the 30 day money back guarantee. We did not need to use it. He was more than happy! They come well packed and are a neat & tidy size. Wall brackets are included. Which makes great value. Paired with convection cooled t.amp S100 MKII Amp, they deliver clear and crisp highs and mids and just enough bottom end for his needs. They suit the size of room perfectly 3M X 8M. For a larger room you would need a...

JBL Control 29 AV White

JBL Control 29 AV White

Based on 1 reviews

The JBL 29AV fitted the bill to avoid having to use a sub for more bass in an external situation. I was able to mount it up high in a corner (and so out of the way) and amazingly it still fixes on to the same ball mount that comes with the smaller Control series. Sounds big loud and clear and has plenty of headroom as per usual with larger JBLs. I've used Control 25s as fills in this instance but the 29AV seems to provide sufficient low end to fill out the sound generally. I've used many Control series speakers over the years in various installations and have found them to be mainly reliable, capable of high levels for extended periods and quite hard to break. Being available in white also saved having to paint them!

Biamp Systems SDQ5PIR White

We are using these linked to a large flatscreen. The associated wallplate allows automatic switching between sound inputs from the TV and from music players which is perfect and works well for people who are not trained in its use. Just plug and play.... The downsides are: The sound quality is adequate, but not that great. Fine for smallish room and background music. The treble/bass are on up and down buttons, so it is hard to adjust. You can only do it by ear and can't see if you have them set high or low.
