I already had the "plastci version", this bamboo is a good upgrade. for me it is better Bb because its allow a little more room for my big fingers. And I love the smoky smell/taste of this instrument.. nothing you can "hear", but something interesting if you believe in your "connection" with the instrument you play...

Bought this for my girlfriend who's saxophonist, she played it rightaway with an alto reed. As this is a handcrafted wood instrument, don't expect it to sound right all the time, but it's very good overall.
