Alto Bluetooth Ultimate

I'm using Alto Bluetooth Ultimate at my home for wireless connection with my mixer. The device behaves very well when I move around the house. Signal is ok through 2-3 thick concrete walls. More than 3 walls cause interruptions in signal - in my case this is at about 12 meters. This range is ok for me and my home. I bought a 50cm XLR cable for the stereo connectivity, but now that it arrived, I think that 30cm would have been sufficient. Sound is good enough on Mono, Stereo is a real nice bonus, for which the additional investment in buying Ultimate is totally worthed for me. There isn't latency in the transmission, which is good for watching movies. Phantom power produces no noise at all when on. There is a loud beep however while connecting/disconnecting the bluetooth which is rather...
Denon Professional DN-200BR

If I could I would give this a 3.5 stars as its decent enough and certainly has Great range but the overall sound is slightly scooped on the midrange and lacking in separation and clarity. This actually makes a poor recording sound better than it is but then that's not what I want in a receiver. The bass has good weughtbto it but overall a slightly unimpressive reproduction. The focal one I bought at the same time is far superior in almost every way in terms of audio fidelity but it is the opposite of rugged so no comparison in that department. All in all a decent product but Denon really could do better in the DAC department. If they can produce a high end sound from their Prime range then they could have done the same here and it has left me somewhat disappointed ????
Fun Generation BT Receiver

Sirus Stereo Link 5.8 TX

This is a great system for transmitting streams, MP3s etc. at home, in bars, larger rooms etc. or outdoors where cabling is not an option. The build quality is good and robust, the opportunity to use balanced or unbalanced connectors is great. Pairing works virtually immediately; volume controls on both devices allow you to tweak the signal level to get perfect sound. The stereo to mono switch on the transmitter works effectively without phasing issues, and the stereo spread is reproduced faithfully. I tested the system in my apartment. The transmitter was in the living room; the first test had the receiver and stereo speaker in the kitchen- one room over, but a wall and two open doors between. Worked like a charm! For the second test I went upstairs; the distance was probably around 15...
