In a somewhat larger studio that can take it, these speakers are the most valuable equipment I have bought in YEARS (and I buy a LOT).

Great and nice looking speakers, annoying LED.

I bought these monitors for my home studio and they do everything I want them to do.

They sound great, and they have enough bass support on their own without any external sub. Admittedly, I am not a pro with enough knowledge to tell you how they differ from other brands and products, but I am very happy with the performance of these speakers.

I only have one real complaint, the LED on the front stays lit as long as the speakers have power. I would very much have preferred no light, or that the speakers entered some form of sleep mode if no signal was sent over a set period of time. Now I have an extension cord with an onboard power switch dedicated to these two and my soundcard only to be able to kill the lights in a convenient manner.
