Good, as expected!

All features are here, easy installation. Contemplating baying a backplate for mic stand mount and save a bit of desk space :)

Good and clear sound

I'm using this mixer to mix all the drum microphones together and the sound is clear and nice, no noticeable background noises presents. The knobs feels nice and smooth, metal body a little bit rattles, but not a big deal. Overall good and quality mixer!

Perfect mixer for small and starter bands

I've been mainly using the desk for my new trio - guitar, bass, cajon + vocal. The desk really does its work. I recommend this desk for smaller bands or different instrumental or vocal groups (rehearsal and also gigs). The mixing desk is really easy to get used to. Its features are limited but for the price you pay you really get a good mixer. I warmly recommend it for anyone who is starting a new band and its limited on his budget.

Yamaha mixer.

This is the first ever Yamaha musical item I ever owned.

I use a pair of very good passive speakers (sometimes 4 speakers if its a big gig), with my old, but good & trusty 25 year old, 1000 watt power amp.

I tried "many" of these separate mixing desks, they are vulnerable to rain, beer spills and dropping, etc, don't seem to last beyond a year, so I gave up paying big money for them.

My last mixing desk cost almost ?1000, but in sound, quality and features, this Yamaha MG10 is right up there.

2 channels 1 & 2 have variable compression which helps with my harmonica/voice mic. I never had this before and its great. I never use effects at all, so this works great (got no effects).

?150 compared to ?1000, is fantastic. I should'a got more then I'm ready for the next beer spill.
