Bb Trumpet

A real Great Pro Horn.
Best value for money Yamaha professional horn. I have also a silver plated model (8310ZS).
This is a little bit darker and i think a bit "lighter" than the silver.
Great extremelly free blowing feel, flexible, ideal for all around use, easy to blend in secctions, great projection and multi-colorfull sound at studio recording sessions.
The trumpet has enough balance in the various registers of the instrument has a very concise and efficient sound.
Excellent
I bought this trumpet back to 2008 and it is my main Bb trumpet. It is an excellent instrument of very high quality and I use it in any setting from lead trumpet to solo classical and even at the orchestra. Highly recommend!!!
Too good for me, but one day....
As a complete novice, the purchase of this trumpet was probably a foolish extravagance and counter to all the advice I have read on the internet (advocating a student model to start with). To me, it looks good, plays bad and represents promise of better days, but I did lend it to a trumpet playing friend for a week. She is a brill big band player and she really liked it. As good as she is, after 15 years of playing, she has only just swapped her student horn for a second hand yamaha xeno. Me - a typical man, has to have an expensive and shiny new toy but I guess that's the difference between men and women.
