Glad I bought it

I have owned 10 purpose built studio workstations from Omnirax, Quiklok, Fame etc. and I have butchered various IKEA desks but never got what I needed. I took a long time to research which desk was best for my 76 note keyboard, 2 x 27" screens and KRK Rockit 6. I choose the MIZA Z instead of the 88 or 88XL because I don't really need rack space and the screen height on my iMac would be too high on the shelf, The MIZA Z is just right for me. A very solid item that fits together well, not too difficult to build. I built it by myself but it is easier with 2 people. The item came amazingly well packaged. Please note if you are looking at a desk with a keyboard drawer there is always a compromise in your seating height. I can tuck myself under the desk but it is tight, make sure you've got a good height adjustable chair. The evolution has to be electrically adjustable height for such desks. I don't think you'll find a more solid sliding keyboard shelf on any desk.

Pros

Cons

None really but would like some height adjustment if it was possible

An amazing desk!

I'm a producer/engineer and i bought the Zaor Miza Z for my new home studio as a main desk.

I needed a good quality, sturdy desk with a big surface so i can put all of my synths and processors and keep them at arm's reach as possible.

The Miza is more than that clearly! Solid construction, the drawer is very smooth and the cable management is a lot of help for keeping things tidy.

It was very easy to assemble, even if you are not

very familiar with assembling furniture like me!

Just bring a friend, read the manual

and in about an hour or so you are ready!

In my opinion, not only it's the best desk you can find for that price point but it can definitely compare with other manufacturers' high priced products.

Zaor Miza Z

This is a good purchase. Although it is a bit pricy, you do get a lot of table for your money. It is very solid and well put together. This makes it quite heavy though.

There are plenty of gaps and holes for wires. Some of the parts had already been attached to each other, so you don't need to build the whole thing yourself. However I want to point out that the instruction sheet that came with it was quite poor, understandable enough to be able to build it though.

There's a small problem with the gap between lower part of the table that rolls out and the top, if you happen to be a short person like me. You keep hitting the lower level with your knees to be able to reach your arms out properly on top of the table. Or you may sit lower, in which case your knees stop hitting the table but your arms become uncomfortable. Just a minor flaw though.

Overall 4/5
