This is simply beautiful. The sound is exactly what I was looking for. Being from the Xist said there's little to say about the quality: amazing. What a wonderful cymbal!

A nice juxtaposition to smaller brighter crashes⦠buttery soft and easy to crash on, tasty to ride on and overall a real delight. Buy it!

This cymbal is not shy! It will stand out, let everybody know he is there and look for attention. It's a freak of nature but you can't keep your eyes off it.
Paiste 2002 Classic 22" Crash

A medium thin cymbal with dark low pitch tones. A big beautiful crash to work with and has a softer bell but projects well in a mix. The cymbal shows off it's brightness when played louder. I use it as my ride/crash. The bow of the cymbal works well for riding with tip of stick. A versatile cymbal with more wash as ride function but I like that the stick definition is hidden and low. I sent back the 2002 Ride and got this 2002 crash instead. It's like the ultimate light ride/crash cymbal. Musical, light for building intensity with wash, good bell, great crash with medium sustain and loud if I would like. Much better 22" crash/ride though it's not a medium crash, than 22" ride. Thanks
Zultan 22" Heritage Crash

This crash sounds decent enough, especially considering the price point. Unfortunately it doesn't stand the test of time. I used it exclusively for rehearsals, and it was cracked in several places within a year. Admittedly I'm a bit of a heavy hitter, but all my other cymbals have survived many years of similar use. Paying more for a better quality crash will be a better option in the long run.
