Best Zildjian 06" A-Custom Splash Alternatives

This review will be a bit biased since i am a big fan of splash cymbals. This little thing is just awesome, it does everything you expect a 6" splash to do - It has presence without cutting through music too harshly. I put it on smaller cymbal felts to minimize the dampening. I just love it!

This has far more wash and brightness compared to the A-Custom Splash.The profile is identical, but the lathing is left intact, without any heavy polishing, just the protective lacquer? buffing compound? coating.This feels like a tough strong cymbal and sounds excellent.

The usual Paiste Signature quality, which is excellent, albeit at a high price. A very fast splash, good attack, rounded sound. The only slight negative is that the volume is somewhat lower than an 8 or 10 inch splash. Not really designed for rock situations where it struggles to cut through the mix. However, it complements the 8 (and 10 inch) splash well at less demanding volumes.
