Zoom U-22
USB Audio Interface For PC/Mac/iPad

Latest User Reviews
Nice audio interface
Easy to use, just plug it and install it's driver. All applications will recognize it. It uses power from it's USB cable so if you use your pc as an amp, you don't need power adapter or batteries. It's pretty light so it won't stay in place easily, mine keeps falling, but it won't brake. The only thing that i miss is that you can't simultaneously plug a guitar and a AUX line from your phone or mp3, it will only work with one device at a time.
Great for iPad
I bought this interface to use it with my iPad and I find it is a perfect match. The best feature is that it can be powered by 2AA batteries. That way you don't need a powered USB hub to connect it to your iPad, just a CCK adapter. Even if you have a USB C iPad, this will not drain your iPad if you use it with batteries.
The features are basic, but just what I personally need. I like the fact that it has a stereo line input (which can not be used at the same time as the mic input).
The thing that I don't like that much are the knobs. They are almost flush with the interface which is great for portability, but they are pretty light to the touch - it's very easy to accidentally move them. I would also prefer 6.3mm jack for outputs instead of RCA, but it's possible they couldn't fit in this small device.
I never used it with a guitar so I can't comment on that, but the mic preamp sounds OK,. With a good mic the noise level is perfectly acceptable.
weak
a lot of noise, sound thru mic input is like street speaker and agresive. i wil not buy zoom again.
Easy plug and play
This device does exactly as it says. It was very simple to set up with my MacBook and SM57 mic. Perfect for making simple recordings and trumpet tutorials. It came with a free copy of Ableton Lite which I have also been using.
