NT-USB Mini : studio quality for dummies

I use it for video streaming and teaching. It is compact and very easy to use. It sits gracefully on the desk. It's beautifully designed and more importantly it is a huge step up in quality compared to the microphone that comes with camera's for videostreaming. You could off course use a studio microphone and a dedicated sound card but it would take up more space and cables, cost you a lot more, and wouldn't make a big difference in sound quality. If it is mainly voice you want to record in front of a computer, I don't think you could do better for this price. A no-brainer to my ears and wallet.

The headphone out is also of good quality. When not recording, it makes for enjoyable listening when streaming music. It is a much better amplification and DA conversion than the standard outputs of a regular sound card.

My only niggle is that I would like it to have a switch that mutes the microphone. Maybe something for the NT-USB 2. Revolutionary!
