Harmony 32 : good entry-level keyboard with some unexpected features

someone recommended this to me this as I was looking for something that was inexpensive, but not cheap-sounding. for such a package, you get an amazing amount of instruments and rhythms (my 4 year old really likes the train effect). it pretty much does exactly what I want.

what surprised me is that it's also midi capable. I have done a little bit of recording through Garagband and it works nicely.

if there's one minor negative, it's that the case feels really quite light and plasticky, and I have a feeling this wouldn't fare-well if dropped from a decent height. however, it has a nice groove on the back which is the right spot for your fingers, so a tight grip will see you right.

highly recommended for price-conscious people looking for a midi capable beastie.
