Alesis Harmony 32
Keyboard

good entry-level keyboard with some unexpected features
someone recommended this to me this as I was looking for something that was inexpensive, but not cheap-sounding. for such a package, you get an amazing amount of instruments and rhythms (my 4 year old really likes the train effect). it pretty much does exactly what I want.
what surprised me is that it's also midi capable. I have done a little bit of recording through Garagband and it works nicely.
if there's one minor negative, it's that the case feels really quite light and plasticky, and I have a feeling this wouldn't fare-well if dropped from a decent height. however, it has a nice groove on the back which is the right spot for your fingers, so a tight grip will see you right.
highly recommended for price-conscious people looking for a midi capable beastie.
Excellent for the price
I needed a simple keyboard to help me with my bass studying. For this role is top!
For the money.
Delivery to Ireland took an unprecedented 14 days (thank you Brexit). However, well worth the wait. This is a mini-marvel of music technology. Good range of noises. Sound/speakers surprisingly good. Great learning/teaching/fun tool. Lap friendly - I think I might even stick it in a pannier on my next cycling holiday. And all for €48 ??? C'mon - a no brainer!
