PB-20 BK Standard Series : Good, cheap bass

I bought this bass two years ago. So here is a long term review.

Quality: The frets are ok, all other parts well made. I play very strong and rough with plec, but the bass still stays long in tune.

I would recommend to give it to a guitar builder to set the bass properly up as mine was not when I got it. The original strings are not really good, I cahnged them straight away.

Sound: Typical precision sound and definitly the best part of this bass. Strong and powerful

You get with this instrument a good, reasonably priced copy of the legendary precision. I recommend this one for beginners with a low budget. If you have a bit more, have a look at the squier prec. basses.
