Procaster : Lovely podcast/ radio broadcast mic
I’ve not used any other more experience mics, and I don’t think I’ll ever need to. It’s nice and big, sturdy and heavy, which gives it a quality feel. The sound seems good, certainly good enough for me and my little radio show/ podcast. I have found , as others state in their reviews, it benefits a pre amp. I’m using a dbx 286s multi effect processor with it, with only very slight use of the eqs as the sound is pretty spot on as it is! I’ve also added the rode windscreen to it, as it seemed to pick up too much breathing.
