NT2-A Studio Solution Set : Heldentenor
If you are an opera singer (or want to record opera singers) and want a Neumann U47 but can't afford one, this little mic is for you.
I've recorded some lovely tracks and its ability to represent what my ears hear is just fantastic. I generally record live (piano and singer).
I've recorded from Lyric Soprano to Heldentenor to Basso Buffo and have found this mic to be so well suited to recording big voices. Recording violin brought a different angle and the mic worked splendidly. There is absolutely no noise in any of the recordings.
I use this with the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2. The variable polar positioning has been fab.
