BP4025 : Recommended
I use it to record atmospheres for film. This is an amazing mic for that. Great price, super low noise, loud output (so you dont need to crank the preamp up too much), wide stereo image, clear detail from distant sources, rich low end.
The only negative side comes up when you're recording source is very close. For example recording a car pass or machinery. The low frequencies tend to sound a bit cheap (missing some warm feel from mid-low and too much rumble around 50-80hz). But recording distant sounds (like nature or city atmospheres) works brilliantly.
One of the best investments in microphones i've done.
