KNS 8400 : surgical instrument for mastering

I've been trying to consolidate project for some time in Beyerdynamics DT770Pro250 and on Yamaha HS7 speakers. Every time I finished mastering and send it to another system to play it sounded harsh and overloaded in HMF range. Or conversely when I try to add compression or spectrum shaper in that range it's becoming too much dull. With KNS8400 this job become very easy.

Moreover frist time you may notice that these cans not for long pleasing listening because all sounds stand upfront your ears in comparison with Beyerdynamics where midrange is more laid back. But after day or two of warming this effect comes to naught.

Also KRKs are 9dbmore sensitive and loud and have more noise isolation. So recording loud vocalist will not be a problem even driving headphones straight from the USB interface without dedicated HP amp.

I recommend KRK KNS8400 to all who need closed headphones for mixing and mastering .
