NT5 MP : Cheap

I don't like them, they are cheap and sound cheap.

Ok when you don't have anything else, maybe, but since I already have good condenser mics, in the end I sold them and bought a pair of dynamic mics (Sennheiser MD421 BF / 521).

I tried them on acoustic guitar and hated them, tried them as overheads and was very disappointed.

The only thing it was ok for was the Hi-Hat, but I mean, it always cuts out of the mix even when it's not miked, so...

I'd personally stay away and look further.

As an example, a Sontronics mic for mono is much better than any stereo array with there.
